    Chat a little, craft a little. Come to the library to learn how to make DIY Pendant Necklaces. If you wish to personalize it with photos, feel free to bring them otherwise you can use the cool templates provided by the library. This event will be held in the lower level programming room.     Come explore our Maker Cart! This drop in program will allow kids 6 and up time to explore and discover different STEAM tools. The cart includes Dash and Dot robots, a Sphero, a Makey Makey, a 3D Pen, LittleBits, and more! There will be no formal project to complete and little staff instruction (though staff will be on hand if needed). Kids are meant to discover and explore these tools mostly on their own.   7. GRAB-AND-GO Kid's Recipe Kit

    Does your kiddo love spending time in the kitchen? If so, we have a fun gab-and-go recipe kit that you can pick up at the library and make together at home! Ingredients are included. WARNING: While every effort is made to keep kits allergen free, we can't guarantee that ingredients were made in an allergen free facility. This month's recipe is Crunchy Granola Pretzel Sticks. Registration is required. Kits can be picked up starting at 9am on 8/5 and must be claimed by 1pm on 8/7. If you find yourself unable to pick up the kit, please cancel your registration so that it may be transferred to those on the waiting list. You can do this online or you can call the library and we can do it for you. If you fail to pick up the kit without canceling your registration twice in a row, you will be blocked from registering for the next event.
