Preliminary Plat of Alward Estates West No. 4

Approval to adopt the staff report as finding of fact and to grant tentative preliminary plat approval of the Preliminary Plat of Alward Estates West No. 4, P.P. # 70-14-20-300-104, Alward Dr.; Georgetown Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, as shown on the drawing dated 3-21-2019, and with the following conditions, as recommended by the Planning Commission:

1)               Building envelopes appear to meet ordinance requirements, but will be reviewed for exactness at the time a building permit application is submitted.  Many lots are affected by a drainage easement and this is noted to be self-created by the developer in case in the future the homeowner decides to see a variance.

2)               Sidewalks will be provided in the interior of the plat by the individual property owner at the time a house is constructed.

3) All fees, including deferred assessments, shall be paid prior to the issuance of any building permits

Approval of the ACD Metro Act Right of Way Permit Extension, as recommended by the Finance Committee.

Note:   Hark Up Music would like to host a community event and perform music at Rosewood Park on Tuesday, July 9, from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Letter of Intent for Wetland Creation at Maplewood Park



Motion:           To approve the letter of intent to develop the wetland area, as well as a perimeter trail, at no cost to the Township, as recommended by the Services Committee.
