In an effort toward transparency and community engagement in the meetings of the Georgetown Township Board, a livestream will be available via the Zoom platform, using the links and directions provided below.  Public comment via this platform will be made available at the designated times in our agenda.

Please Note:  While we will do our best to make this experience positive for our community, we anticipate it will not be without technical difficulties.  We ask for patience while we navigate and troubleshoot issues that arise, and invite you to attend our meetings in person if this virtual option does not meet your needs.  

This service is being made available as we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, and will be discontinued when health officials determine that the risk of community spread of the virus decreases for our demographics.

To renew the lease of the 10 acres of farm land, next to Maplewood Lake, that Victory Farms has been leasing, at $125 per acre, and maintaining it for the Township, and to approve leasing the neighboring 14.5 acres of farm land that the Township purchased in December of 2020 that Victory Farms has been farming, at $200 per acre, as recommended by the Services Committee.

Note:     The 10 acre parcel is depicted in the Farm Land Area 1 picture and the 14.5 acre parcel is depicted in the Farm Land Area 2 picture.

Approval of the purchase of two more columbarium units from the low bidder, Premier Columbaria, for $13,322.00, to be placed on the existing pad at the cemetery, as requested by the cemetery, and as recommended by the Services Committee


Note:     The GT Cemetery is nearly out of available niches in the current columbaria.  There is room to add 2 more units on the current pad.
